**NEW DHHS Grant Programs**
Nebraska's Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Children and Family Services (CFS) is investing $66 million into the state's child care workforce networks to recognize and reward childcare workers, repay student loan debt, and expand access to quality child care services.
If you work for a Nebraska child care provider or center, you may be eligible for a workforce stipend and student loan repayment grant. The grant program intends to alleviate financial challenges experienced by Nebraska's child care workforce.
DHHS will hold several virtual information sessions in English and Spanish to discuss
- eligibility for the Workforce Stipend and Loan Repayment grant,
- instructions on how to apply, and
- a question and answer session.
