1. Mock Trial/Court Systems- You can't handle the truth! Not really, but if you are interested in being an attorney or judge then the truth is we need you on the mock trial team! If you enjoy acting or role playing...then we need you too! The team provides it's own witnesses for the trial so you will get to play the part of an important witness and take the stand to testify!

2. Forensic Science/CSI- do you fancy blood splatter analysis, fingerprinting, and fiber analysis to catch the criminals? Then you've come to the right place to get real experience in just that! Ms. Parker has the fancy equipment you see on t.v. and you get to play with all of it!

3. Law Enforcement/Corrections- if you think you want to be a cop, detective, federal agent, game warden, or in corrections...this is the spot for you! Learn skills in handcuffing, traffic stops, building searches, foot pursuit, SWAT team, and many more. It's your back stage pass to all things law enforcement taught by your sponsors that are cops!

Last year, the TCHS mock trial team placed 2nd at the state competition in Austin, TX and went on to win 4th in the Nation!!!!!!!!! Students get to compete in an actual criminal trial with a student judge, two attorneys that will build a defense and a prosecution for the case, and all the important witnesses for the case.

We compete in the YMCA Texas Youth and Government Program under the Judicial tab. Put wait, there's more! There are several other areas available to compete in. If politics, law making, or media is something you are interested in....join us!
