Reminder: No school Thursday and Friday
Show your school pride on Wednesday for the annual BSD Apple Cup Rivalry Day. Wear your favorite school's colors and submit your photos for the highlight reel to: Communications@BremertonSchools.org
Not a fan of the Huskies or the Cougars? That's ok! Wear colors or gear of your favorite school, college or professional team!
We will put together a highlight reel that will be shared via the Bremerton School District Facebook page and website on Saturday before the Apple Cup. View last year's highlight reel here!
We want your input!
The Bremerton School District is committed to providing safe, secure and comfortable schools that promote a learning environment for students, teachers, staff, parents and the community.
The District has hired TCF Architects in Tacoma to update the District's long-range facilities master plan (LRFMP) during the 2022-23 school year. Throughout this planning process, we will be evaluating existing facilities in relation to the District's educational program standards, enrollment trends and forecast, capital maintenance and improvement needs, and projected facility demands for the next 20 years.
The plan will also include recommendations to provide for good stewardship of the existing capital facilities, ongoing monitoring for changes in population and educational needs, and strategies to respond to population growth and distribution through both program flexibility and facility readiness.
While we engage in this work we will ensure that the support and investments shown by the community in the District's facilities are honored, protected, and utilized so that the District's mission to provide equitable education opportunities and support for all students is maintained and enhanced.
Reminder! In order to apply for Federal Impact Aid funds the District must ask every BSD student’s parent or guardian to fill out the Impact Aid Program survey form on a yearly basis. This will provide the District with a count of how many families live and/or work on federal property as of November 1, 2022. It is important that the District collect a form for every student whether or not his/her
parent(s) or guardian(s) live or work on federal property.
Contact the BSD Business Office if you have questions concerning this form, 360-473-1033/1032.
Thank you for your continued support!
