Good Evening Yowell Families,

This week we will celebrate kindness with a variety of spirit days and an SCA heart and snowflake fundraiser. For 25¢ students can purchase a heart or snowflake to write a quick note to a friend, a friend's name, or their own name. These will be displayed in our hallways.

This week in the Tuesday folder we will be sending home a selection form for you to indicate if you would rather attend our Buddy Bingo (March 31st) OR Someone Special Dance (May 5th). Your child will have to select one event to attend due to limited capacity. Both events are intended for one parent or guardian to attend with the student. Think of it as a special date with your child. These events are part of the tradition at Yowell and we are excited to bring them events back with a little twist - you pick which event to attend. We anticipate these events may sell out due to capacity. Make sure you fill out the form and return it to ensure your spot is reserved. With winter approaching, we must prepare for the possibility of inclement weather. The decision-

making process for closing schools for inclement weather is complex with the safety of our students

and staff as our top priority. In the event of a 2-hour delay breakfast will not be served. Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about weather closings/delays...

In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.

We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
