On Friday, we held our first PBIS Assembly! We are excited to bring back this community building event. For this round, we met as grade levels to review expectations and what it means to be respectful, responsible and safe in an assembly. Our hope is to grow these to a whole school event! At this assembly, we recognized a few students in each grade for their good citizenship and consistent demonstration of what it means to be a Studley Star. Our big message to the students was that even if their name was not called, it was important to be happy for our friends who were recognized. All the students were excellent in the assemblies and made us really proud! We look forward to the next round of students!

We also shared the exciting news that we are in the process of getting a new STAR Mascot! We talked about the importance of having a mascot that represents who we are and what we are proud of. We were all very excited! Stay tuned for more information.I

Picture day is TUESDAY, October 10th! We cannot wait to see everyone's smiling faces.

Each month, a student from each class is selected for our ST Math/Lexia Student Spotlight. These students are selected by their teachers for demonstrating outstanding performance in either Lexia or ST Math. This can be by showing hard work, having perseverance, overcoming a challenge, being focused, etc. Below are our September students! Job well done!

The Fall Festival is coming soon! October 21st is only a couple weeks away, and it is always a fun fall gathering for our Studley community. Students (and adults) are encouraged to wear costumes but not mandatory! There will be TRUNK-or-TREAT, games, and a bake sale! Flyers will be sent home this week!

Hello from the Studley Health Office!

We will soon begin the Massachusetts State Mandated Health Screenings. All health screenings conducted are required by law and these screenings are ongoing throughout the school year. Parents and legal guardians may request, in writing, that their child not participate in the program. This request must be written each year and be specific to which screening you do not wish for your child to participate. The elementary school screenings are as follow:

Vision Screening

Vision screenings are conducted for all grades, kindergarten through fourth grade. Parents/guardians will be notified if the student does not pass and referred to their physician for follow-up.

Hearing Screening

Hearing screenings are conducted for grades kindergarten through third grade. Parents/guardians are notified if the student does not pass and referred to their physician for follow-up.

Growth Development Screening

Growth screenings are conducted for students in grades one and four. Heights and weights are measured and calculated into BMI or body mass index.
