Sometimes a teacher has a special request so we access our partners at the Barrington Public Library for books we may not have in our collection. Seventh-graders are doing research on a change agent. We curated this collection thanks to the public library catalog!

It gets pretty busy in the library after school Monday through Thursday! We have a Dungeons and Dragons club that meets on Tuesdays in the Global Classroom. We also have a Robotics Club and a Photography Club that meet in the Makerspace. It is a chill, relaxing vibe in the library space where students get work done, collaborate on projects, and visit with friends.

Eighth-grader Benjamin Zhang was very thoughtful in his approach to the display. He came in weeks before and measured the shelves to determine how many models he could fit. I was expecting a ship or a train. I never imagined he would have created these amazing robotic creatures! And it feels like a legit museum with his typed descriptions. AMAZING!
