Attendance:
One of our focuses this year is student Attendance and Achievement! Our school goal for the month of August is 90% or better. This means that 90% or more of our students arrive to school on time each day! We will have school wide rewards (which include our No Tardy Parties) for our students each month. When students are in school they have better academic and social emotional growth!
Birthday Celebrations:
In an effort to keep our kids healthy we will be enforcing a policy of no classroom birthday celebrations. Please do not bring cupcakes or sweets for your child’s class. SAUSD does not allow the service of food of any kind inside the school except that which is served by our school cafeteria. Instead we are encouraging you to donate books to your child’s classroom library, or you can send a small goody bag that can include pencils, stickers, etc. that can be sent home at the end of the day. If you do bring treats to the office our staff has been instructed to send them back with you so please help us in following this procedure.
Breakfast and Lunch:
- All school meals will be free for enrolled students for this school year. Families are encouraged to submit a meal application. Households who qualify for free and reduced meals may be eligible for discounted programs such as reduced utilities and/or internet cost.
- As a reminder our gates open for breakfast at 7:30 am. Please do not drop your child off before this time.
We will be sending communication through Parent Square, so please make sure your contact information is up to date in Aeries otherwise you may miss out on important information. We will also be sending the Roadrunner Review weekly. Scroll all the way through the newsletter for important information and families resources. You can also follow us on Facebook or on Instagram .
We look forward to seeing our Roadrunners on August 14th!
Sincerely,
Mr. Jaime Ramirez, Principal
Mrs. Michelle Gardner, Assistant Principal

Unfortunately our parking is extremely limited so our parking lot is for staff members only. Parents will not be allowed to enter the lot. Please plan for this and make sure you leave early enough, we encourage you to walk if you can or use the drop off line located on Halladay St.
Students are required to wear uniforms per Santa Ana USD district policy.
Please make sure you have your students come to school in uniform. If you need assistance with this please contact our FACE liason, Ms. Daicy Cruz.
