Author Spotlight: CSO Bella
My name is Bella, a Chief Science Officer from Freeland High School. This is my second year as a CSO and I am so excited to spend another year in this amazing program. The CSO program is a program that creates STEM leaders and helps teens implement STEM into their school and community. I have met so many amazing people and have had so many great experiences through this program. Some of my favorite memories are the Leadership Training Institute, meeting STEM professionals, and interacting with peers that I share some of the same interests and goals with. This year, I am working on starting a CSO Instagram page for FHS that will share a little bit more about STEM and the CSO program. In the spring, I am hoping to collaborate with other CSOs for a bigger in-person action plan if restrictions allow. The planning process and execution of an action plan takes a lot of time and communication, but has helped me develop many life skills and experience that will help me in the future.
