Fun Fair - September 29 from 2:15 pm to 4:30 pm

The Fun Fair is an annual PTO sponsored carnival for families, students, staff and the Waikiki School community.

Each class provides a booth for the fair and the proceeds earned support their classroom enrichment activities and field trips. Some teachers will ask for Parent Volunteers to assist in their booths. Please come and enjoy the fun with your child and our Waikiki School Ohana.

The Fun Fair will also include a Craft & Bake Sale. We are looking for donations of baked goods, spam musubis, maki sushi, inari sushi, and snacks as well as any donations of little crafts, or plants to sell. No NUTS.

Please label your donated goods. You may drop-off your donated items, bake sale goods, starting at 6:30am on FRIDAY, Sept. 29th at the designated tables in the cafeteria. If you need to drop off AFTER 10:00am, please take it to the office. If you have any questions, please contact Aunty Dolly at dolly@waikikischool.org

Federal Survey Cards Going Home September 6

The annual Federal Impact Aid Survey will commence on Sept. 6. The survey is designed to assist local school districts that have lost revenue due to federal properties exemption from local property taxes. In Hawai‘i, Impact Aid helps offset costs for school materials and resources, substitute teachers, student transportation and other services at schools statewide. Please check your child's backpack starting this Wednesday, complete it, and turn it back in. Thank you for your cooperation.

Grandparents' Breakfast - September 13. 7:15am - 7:45am

Aloha Families,

Our Amazing Waikiki School PTO will be sponsoring our Annual Grandparents Breakfast Celebration!!!

You’re invited if you’re a Grandpa, Grandma, Papa, Nana, Ojii-chan, Obaa-chan, Papaw, Mamaw, Grosspapa, Grossmama, Gung-Gung, Halmoni & Halraboji or Popo. It’ll be a perfect way of meeting other Grandparents & to see how you can get involved as a volunteer!

Parents/Guardians: The breakfast ticket(s) will be sent home with your child on Thursday, September 7, 2023. You are responsible to give the ticket(s) to your child's grandparent(s). Grandparents MUST have this ticket to receive a breakfast on September 13, 2023.

Grandparent(s): Your breakfast will be paid for by Waikiki School PTO.

Parents: If you wish to join us for breakfast as well, you can purchase breakfast at the ticket table inside the cafe for $2.40. Please bring exact CASH amount or not more than $5.00.

PARKING: Please park across the street at the park. Our FRONT PARKING IS RESERVED FOR TEACHERS & STAFF ONLY. You may also drop off Grandma/Grandpa in front of the cafeteria then go & park.

Parents: If you are interested in participating in this event, please fill out Section 2 of this registration form by 12noon, Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Because a headcount is needed, we will not accept forms that are turned in after 12:00pm, Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023.
