Principal's Message
It has been a great week back at school this week! Students and staff have been working hard from the start, practicing routines, reviewing procedures, and jumping right back into our curriculum. Students have began our Mid-Year NWEA testing at all grade levels. The NWEA assessment is one way that we measure student growth during the year. The test provides us important data to help meet the individual academic needs of our students. Parents can help by asking students how their testing went and encouraging students to do their best!
We hope everyone had a great holiday break and we are excited about what 2019 will bring here at Sunny Heights Elementary!
Your proud principal,
Barton Lewis

CLASSROOM VISITS
In an effort to keep all children safe, anyone wanting to visit the classroom, have lunch with a child, and/or go on field trips must come to the school office to complete a background check. Please bring ID at that time. Visits are limited to 15 min. throughout the day. During those 15 min., parents are not able to talk with teachers. We do not want to interrupt class time. If you would like to meet with the teacher, schedule a meeting with the teacher prior to your visiting the school.
