OVERVIEW
We moved our Read-a-thon from the Fall to February and now it is upon us! We are ready to engage the kids in reading activities throughout the month while raising money for our school. The Read-a-thon is our largest fundraiser for the year, and makes up 80-90% of our annual budget. Money raised from the Read-a-thon goes to bringing Amity Interns to our school, buying more Spanish language books for our library, classroom supplies/materials, and other equipment needs in our school.
This year our goal is to raise $35,000. When we reach that goal Sr. Kucinski will camp out on the roof of La ola del lago!
There will be lots of prizes the kids can win throughout the month. There are individual incentives, and classroom/grade level incentives to facilitate a friendly competition.
Thank you for your support!
