53rd Annual District Orchestra Festival
This year’s 53rd Annual District Orchestra Festival will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, 7 PM in the Berea-Midpark High School Auditorium. This concert will feature BCSD orchestras grades 7-12. They will perform music by Handel, Vivaldi, Verdi, Sibelius, Saint-Sean, among others.
This year’s guest conductor is Travis Jurgens. Jurgens is the Music Director and Conductor of the professional Perrysburg Orchestra. Previously, he was the Music Director and Conductor of the Ohio Northern Symphony for five seasons, the Lima Area Youth Orchestra for three seasons, the Philharmonia of Kansas City for six seasons, the Associate Conductor of the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra, and a cover conductor for the Colorado Symphony. He also held the position of Associate Conductor of the Lamont Symphony Orchestra and Opera Theatre in Denver, where he received the Leon Guide Outstanding Conductor Award. We are very excited to work with Condutor Jurgens. The concert is free and open to the public.
BMMS PTA Chipotle Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who supported our 1st Chipotle fundraiser in December.
PTA raised $957 with the help and support from all of you.
Join us for our 2nd Chipotle Night this Wednesday.
*All funds raised will go back towards our students, staff, and school building.*

Track Season Coming Soon!!
Track season is quickly approaching for interested 7th & 8th graders! With events such as sprints, long-distance running, jumps, or throws, we have an event for everyone! Practices will begin after school on Monday, March 13th. We encourage anyone interested or not already involved in a spring sport to join us! If interested, make sure you are signed up in Final Forms prior to the first practice. See Coach Hausler in room 045, or Coach Laufik in room 609 with any questions! We hope to see you there! Go titans!"
Final Forms: All student athletes are required to have a Final Forms account and all signatures must be completed by both parent and student athlete (Final Forms Instructions).
Physicals: All student athletes are required to have a pre-participation physical completed, turned in, and verified by the athletic training staff. Student athletes are encouraged to upload to Final Forms ASAP. Student athletes who show up with a physical on the first day of practice/tryouts may not be able to participate and/or tryout that day. OHSAA pre-participation physical form can be found in your final forms account or at https://ohsaaweb.blob.core.windows.net/files/Sports-Medicine/2022-23PPE(English).pdf.

8 Dimensions of Wellness - Personal
As we continue focusing on developing "Total Titans" in alignment with the district strategic plan, families can support this initiative by clicking HERE to review the activity and learning with students from this week.
Additional wellness activities continuing through the circle of the 8 dimensions of wellness will occur during ATLAS on 3/10, 3/24, 5/12, 5/26.
Girls On The Run
Girls on the is a confidence-building journey that helps girls realize their inner and outer strength. The research-based curriculum empowers girls in 3rd through 8th grade to make healthy decisions through education and physical fitness. Each of the season's 20 lessons will include physical activities, group conversation, personal reflection, journaling and lots of fun! Click Here for more Information
