🔵 After last week's cooler weather our Lost & Found is FULL. If you child is missing a jacket, coat, hoodie, etc. please have them stop by the Lost & Found to claim it.

🔵 Gobble Grams are being sold this week. A paper was sent home on Friday to fill out if you would like to send a Gobble Gram. Both the money & form should be sent together.

Elementary PAWS Gobble Gram Sales

• Cards were sent home last Friday.
• Return the cards & money THIS WEEK.
• Gobble Grams will be delivered on Friday, Nov. 17.
• Each Gobble Gram is $1.

Gobble Grams are an excellent way for friends and family to show they are thankful for someone.

Gobble Grams are for Elementary students only.

The annual "Blessings from BK" is near! Listed above are suggestions for each day, however, any nonperishable food donation will be accepted and is greatly appreciated. The food collected will be used to help students at Bald Knob Schools.

We need all hands on deck for our next meeting. We will have a brief meeting and then assemble Gobble Grams. We would LOVE as many volunteers as possible.

WE DID IT! We met our 6 Million Word Goal! Everyone will get an extra recess with music!

We have set our next goal to read NINE million words. If (when) we reach it, Mrs. Byrd & Mrs. Anselmi will get silly-stringed!

Your 3rd-5th grader should be able to tell you which multiplication level they are working on. After a student feels confident in the level, they take a multiplication test. If they pass they move on to the next level. If they don't pass they should continue to practice and are allowed to test again when they are ready. Once a student passes all of their facts they will earn an ice cream sundae and be added to the Multiplication Masters Wall of Fame.

There are many multiplication websites to practice facts OR you can create flashcards.

Arkansas state standard says that by the end of 3rd grade all students should have mastery over all multiplication facts through their 12s.

3.CAR.2: Use basic fact fluency to multiply and divide whole numbers with mastery by the end of third grade.

• Knowing all products with factors up to and including 12 and the corresponding division facts from the products with factors up to and including 12.

Be sure you are connected on Class Dojo. Not only will you be able to communicate with your child's teacher, but you will also be able to see how many Dojo points your child has earned. Each quarter we will have a Dojo Celebration. Students that have earned enough Dojo points for GREAT behavior will attend. Points start over each quarter.
