A Message from Curtis Principal, Sonya Pitcock
Cougar parents,
We have had a great two weeks and hope you have too! It’s been great having some of our students return to campus. The students are doing so well wearing masks and following safety protocols each day. They are really doing great!
We wanted to let you know that football and volleyball games will be starting the week of September 21. Due to UIL guidelines on stadium and gym seating, students will not be able to come to the games unless they come with the family of a student athlete or cheerleader and have a pre-purchased ticket. Parents of athletes and cheerleaders will get specific information about purchasing tickets as well as the number of tickets available for purchase directly from the coaches. We are disappointed to not be able to have students cheer on their peers at this time, but we hope this is temporary. Thank you for understanding and make sure not to drop your student off for the game as they will not be able to get into the gate.
This Friday is school picture day! Students have received information about school pictures from their Tracks teachers and our at home learners received information on Friday. If you have any questions about pictures, please give us a call. School dress code is still in effect for pictures, so please keep this in mind as you pick out your outfits!
Thank you for all the support you have shown the teachers as they work through their new normal!
Sonya Pitcock
