I hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy this Labor Day weekend. It has been a great first few weeks of school. The heat is supposed to return next week, but our custodial staff works really hard and is ready for the challenge to keep NMS cool.

Safety for our students and staff is something we take very seriously here at NMS. Please talk to your children about the seriousness of making threatening comments regarding students, staff, or the school. No comments will be handled as a joke here at Nippersink Middle School and law enforcement will be contacted if comments are made or shared on social media. Please contact the office or use our website if you have a safety concern. Safety concerns can be submitted on the website HERE

• All student bus information can be found in our Traversa Ride 360 app.

• Download instructions can be found HERE.

• A good suggestion for kids is to take a screenshot of the app and route numbers to make it easier to find the information after school on the first day.

Before School: Doors will open at the back entrance of the school at 7:00 a.m. for all students. Students must report to the supervised areas when entering the building.

After School: Students who are not scheduled to meet with a teacher, club, activity, or athletic practice must exit the building by 3:00 p.m. Students should not be in unsupervised areas.
