All of our schools are actively keeping students engaged through various activities throughout the year. If you are not following them on social media, we strongly encourage you to! They post wonderful snippets of what's going on inside our schools--so much more than we can share here!
Hugh Goodwin Elementary
Mrs. Lester's class had a magical time chatting with Santa's elves and sharing their Christmas wishes!
Northwest Elementary
Northwest Roadrunners had an opportunity to take a walk through Roadie's Winter Wonderland during the Northwest at the North Pole event. Students and parents were able to visit with teachers, learn more about literacy, and have some fun stops along the way!

Yocum
1st graders embarked on a special adventure as they toured the local Post Office to craft heartfelt letters to Santa, and send them off to the North Pole!

Students from Mydeana Bridges' SHAKE class teamed up with ESD Communications Director Scarlett Gully to record a new episode of the Promise Podcast.

Barton Junior High
Barton Junior High School students and teachers shared the gift of music this month! Caroling around El Dorado, they visited three local nursing homes and ESD Central Office, spreading holiday joy and festive spirit!

The Promise Podcast is back!
We're thrilled to share some fantastic news – The Promise Podcast is back! Created by educators, for the community, this podcast is dedicated to highlighting education across our state. After a hiatus in 2022, we're excited to kick off a new season, and our Communications Director, Scarlett Gully, is taking the lead to bring insightful and engaging content.
This season, we're turning the spotlight on the students from Washington Middle School's Competition SHAKE class. Follow their journey as they gear up for a competition this spring, offering a unique insight into their experiences, challenges, and successes.
