MVA Tech News (week 3)

We had our first ever MVA Technology Breakfast on Thursday, August 6th before school in the parent center. We had about 10 parents join us to learn about how technology is used at MVA. We mainly focused on Jupiter Grades, since that was the #1 thing our parents wanted to know more about. A huge thanks to Mr. Radomski, Ms. Johal, and Ms. Kleespies for joining us, chatting with parents, and supporting technology. And, a big high five to Mrs. Morris for using her CIS-powers to help make the Technology Breakfast happen.

Our next Technology Breakfast will be on Thursday, September 3rd at 7:30 in the parent center. Hope to see you there!

Tech Tuesdays is an informal gathering of teachers to chat about technology, ask and answer questions, and share how we are using technology in our classroom. We meet at lunch in room 403 (Ms. Venturino)--don't worry about coming late or leaving early, all are welcome!

Absolute Apps is open for students to download apps. At this time, the only apps that are on there are ones that I have asked the district to push out right away. Eventually, they will hopefully have all 300+ available. If there's an app you want your students to have, please email me and I will send in a request. The turnaround is usually only a few hours.
