Mission Project

Every year we have the opportunity to partner with Casino Road Ministries. We get to provide supplies for their after school program. As a parent, I love teaching my children about generosity. Generosity means "the quality of being kind." The items Casino Road Ministries is asking for doesn't cost much, but to them it makes a big difference! Would you please consider donating to this great cause?

Teacher Training Highlight

Did you know that we require all of our Early Learning Personnel to take 12 credits of continuing education per year, plus 4 Biblical Education Credits? This is 6 more credits than is mandated by the state of WA. Each one of our staff uses their own resources to find and attend classes in areas where they are looking to grow over the year.

Two weeks ago, our Admin team (Angela, Beth, Melissa) drove to Portland to attend an all day training with other ACSI Early Educators in the area. There were breakout sessions about Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD, Lesson Plans Development, Focus in the classroom, Arts and Crafts and more. We are very excited to share with the rest of the staff soon.

Between the three of us, we have two degrees in Early Childhood and one in Elementary Education with an average experience of 16 years working with Preschool aged children. We love the little ones here and look forward always taking the opportunity to learn more to better serve you and your family.

How to Pack a lunch

This is from pg.24 in our Parent Handbook:

"Healthy sack lunches will need to be sent to school with your child. A healthy lunch limits sugars and must contain a protein, a fruit or vegetable, and whole grain. Milk must be provided in their lunch (or OSPI CACFP Approved Non-Dairy Beverages); chocolate or flavored milks are not permitted.

Per Health Department regulations; no soda, cookies or candy or fast food items that are labeled or show fast food logos are allowed."

Welcome Tais Ugalde

We are excited to announce our new aide in the Preschool B class. She has been taking classes in Early Education from Everett Community College and is very excited to be working in the Early Learning Center.

The 2020-2021 Enrollment season is here!

Just a friendly reminder that all NEW STUDENT applications opened on January 1, 2020. If you are a returning family with another child who has not yet attended, you may apply now.

All CURRENT students are welcome to Re-Enroll starting soon. You will receive an email with the links and information for re-enrollment.

All current students have priority placement for the entire month of February. On March 1st, enrollment will be opened to all students.

We are excited to announce that we are working to bring you a more streamlined process in the 2021-2022 School year.
