Summer is done, teachers are getting their classrooms ready, and students will be heading back to campus! We are so excited to welcome all of our new and returning students on Monday, August 9th.

This Friday, from 12-3 pm, we encourage all middle schoolers & new students to bring their school supplies to campus. We will also take care of setting up Chromebooks for new students or students with new Chromebooks. Students will also be given their locker numbers so they can locate and place any necessary items in there.

Lockers will only be given to 6th-9th graders for the primary purpose of holding their PE uniforms.

Returning 9th-12th graders should bring their supplies on the first day of school, however, older siblings of middle schoolers may bring their supplies on Friday if they so choose.

We will be doing a school-wide fundraiser with Flagship Express (in Waipio) & Carwash 808 (across Wet & Wild). Every student is required to sell 5 tickets, or for families with multiple students, 10 tickets per family. Each ticket costs $15. Ticket sales begin August 15th and all monies due by October 1st. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be returned. You are responsible for lost tickets. Tickets are valid from August 15th - November 15th, 2021.

We are raising funds to resurface our basketball courts.

For the first quarter, the Oasis will continue to offer snacks and drinks to hungry students. To keep students from congregating around the microwaves, we will not be offering foods requiring microwave heating at this time.

The Oasis will be accepting cash payments for purchases.

If your child is sick or has Covid-19 symptoms, even if vaccinated, do not come to school.

We are not requiring staff or students to get vaccinated, but do hope you will all continue to be diligent in your own safety and that of others.

If your child has been vaccinated and you would like to let us know, you may send us a copy of their vaccination record.

Be aware that as more schools begin requiring vaccinations for ILH Athletics, this may be something we also require for our athletes. We will let you know if this becomes the case.

With the number of Covid-19 cases on the rise, and out of an abundance of caution for our students and staff, we are requesting proof of a negative Covid-19 test for all students who have traveled out-of-state and will not return to Hawaii until after August 5th. The test must be conducted on-island AFTER returning to Oahu. If your child does not show proof of a negative Covid-19 test, they may not return to school for 10-days. This test must be done for all students regardless of vaccination status.

Until stated otherwise, this policy will continue to be in effect for all travel during the school year.

All students must wear a mask while in the building, but will not be required to wear them outside. That said, students should continue to keep a healthy distance from others while un-masked.

For PE or other classes conducted outdoors, masks may be required depending on what they are doing. Teachers will let the students know if they should keep their masks on for that class/activity.
