Grade 6 Traditional Feast
We are having a Traditional Cree Feast for all of our Grade 6 students and their families on June 9th at 12:00 pm. The Feast is to celebrate our Grade 6 students and send them off to Ponoka Secondary Campus in a good way.
School Council Pancake Breakfast
Our amazing School Council will be back at it on June 20th. This has been a long standing tradition at our school that has been on hold for the past two year. Every student will get to enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast on June 20th. If the weather is nice, we will be having it outside. This does require a lot of hands to make light work so if you are willing and able to help out, please contact the school and we will pass your information on to Angie Taylor our School Council Chair.
Cilantro and Chive Fundraiser Presentation
Cilantro and Chive will be by the school on June 6th to present us with the amount of money raised through their Ice Cream Sandwich fundraising program. We are excited to be able to refresh our recess equipment with money raised.
Alberta School Council Association Survey
The Alberta School Council Association is asking parent(s)/guardian(s) to fill out a short survey about they impact the COVID19 pandemic has had on their child's academic and/or social and emotional well-being. Please click here to fill out the survey.
New K-3 Curriculum Implementation Planning
Our Kindergarten to Grade 3 teachers have been participating in a variety of Professional Development sessions over the past two weeks and will continue this in the coming weeks as they plan and prepare to implement the new curriculum next year. Next year new Math and Language Arts curriculums will be taught in all of our Kindergarten to Grade 3 classes. If you have not had a chance to look at what is in the new curriculum click here.
