TECH-KNOW CAMPS 2021

SUMMER CAMP INFO:

Days:

Monday - Friday (5 days)


HOURS:

Morning Sessions: 7:30-12:00

Afternoon Sessions 1:00-5:30

(Registering for BOTH sessions will allow your child to stay ALL DAY @no extra charge, just send a lunch:)


RATES:

Morning Sessions: $75.00 PER WEEK/5 Days

Afternoon Sessions: $75.00 PER WEEK/5 Days

AGE GROUPS:

Group I- K5-1st Grade

Group II- 2nd-3rd Grade

Group III- 4th-6th Grade

Group IV- 7th & 8th Grade


THIS WEEK:

Maker Space & Photography 101 in the AM

Video Game Design & Lego Masters int he PM


Water and a snack will be provided during each session.

Photography 101

Each week we will explore the basics of photography. We will discover camera basics, indoor/outdoor lighting, candid vs. posed, monochromatic, photo editing, and much more.

Robotics- Battle Bots

Each week we will design, build, demonstrate and learn new skills with various robotic kits. We will compete in a Battle Bots event and the closing of each week.

Sci-TECH Camp

Sci-TECH Camp is a mixture of Science and Technology. We learn and experience innovative technologies and explore the messiest Science activities known.

Maker Space Engineering

During each session, kids will draft, design, and construct objects that adhere to a specific weekly theme. Hammers, nails, glue, paint, etc. will be used during the construction process. Each kid will leave with their personalized creation.

Video Game Design

During each session, students will develop, design, and publish their very own video games. Students invent heroes, villains, settings, levels, power-ups, etc. to complete a personalized video game that they will publish and play live.

Robotics

Students will explore Dash & Dot, Jimu, Mindstorm, and Vex robotics. Students will use block-based coding to explore and control their bots.

Home Economics

Learn life skills, sewing skills, cooking skills, economics skills, cleaning skills, scheduling skills, etc.

Mechanical Engineering

Learn how a motor works, how to check the oil, how to change tires and various other basics for several types of motors.

Lego Masters

Each week we will design, invent, build, and create with Lego. Every week we will explore a new topic and design.
