Air Quality
With the recent decrease in air quality due to the forest fires, we want to share with you the guidelines we are following when making decisions about student safety. We are utilising the Air Quality Health Index as a guide. Health Canada recommends that if the AQHII is above “7”, outdoor activities must be moved inside and strenuous activities such as games/practices should be cancelled. For a further breakdown of recommendations, please see the following link: AQHI Health Messages. Because we strive to ensure a safe environment for all our students, we will err on the side of caution when making decisions around air quality. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
