Mill Valley Weekly
January 13th, 2022
Hello Mill Valley Families,
We continue to focus on Kindness during the month of January! Each day on the morning announcements we share a new idea of a way to show kindness such as offering to help someone else, offering words of encouragement, or a simple smile as you pass in the hallway. Also, in the hallway students can literally be the "I" in Kind!
Students will enjoy a day off on Friday, January 21st. Teachers will be engaged in a professional development day. At the end of this month our teachers will engage in Universal Screening meetings to discuss the results of the recent STAR test. These meetings help us determine next steps that need to be taken in your child's education in order to ensure we meet each child's needs.
Lastly, the 2022-2023 School Calendar has been approved by the school board and can be viewed HERE. It is also linked at the bottom of every Mill Valley Weekly.
Sincerely,
Robin Schrot, Principal

More HUGGERS Coming!
Great news, we have more huggers on the way!
We want to personally thank all the families who have already participated in our SchoolStore fundraiser! We are on our way to reaching our goal, but we need everyone's help to make sure our teachers get the essential tools they need to help our students succeed.
If your family has not participated, it's not too late! Students can still register to receive their code to qualify for a HUGGER.
This safe and easy fundraiser is 100% online so there is no face-to-face selling, collecting money, or delivering products. Your child will receive a prize just for participating, and more prizes will be awarded when goals are reached. Please help now. It really will make a difference.
Go to https://www.schoolstore.net/sid.t?0000189736 to show our valued teachers your support.
Thanks
