Hope Springs Agreement

Director of Grant Programs, Linda Gibbens, discussed renewing the agreement with HopeSprings Counseling Services.

Background

There is a mutual understanding that academic and mental health needs are inter-related and that support and services to the student, family, school and others connected to the student affects the quality of educational experiences. Urbana School District #116 recognizes the need to provide students and families access to mental health and other provisional supports.

The mutual goal between HopeSprings and USD116 is to increase opportunities to meet the clinical needs of children and families in Urbana using a trauma-informed care lens.
