Buy Great Coffee and Benefit our School!!
Take Your Bag to the Coop for PPCS!
PPCS is one of the Moscow Food Coop's current Change for Good recipients! Change for Good is a community giving program of the Moscow Food Co-op that focuses on eliminating single-use items from the waste stream. For each reusable tote bag, reusable coffee mug or thermos, bulk container, produce bag, or EcoToGo box they bring in, customers are able to donate a “5-cent token,” up to 10 tokens, to one of three organizations selected by the Change for Good committee. PPCS will be a recipient through March, so remember you bag when you head to the Coop!
Adventure Lunch Order Link Fixed
The lunch survey link in Adventure Friday documents had a problematic setting, making it unavailable to parents. That setting has been fixed and you should be able to order school sack lunches for Adventure Fridays now. Remember, Adventure Friday sack lunch orders must be placed at least a week in advance. If you don't order a lunch and don't send one on the day of the adventure, we will need to call you to bring a lunch to your student. Thank you to families who made us aware of the issue and thanks for your patience as we try out this new system. We appreciate your feedback. Email office@palouseprairieschool.org with questions or comments.

Celebrations
Our family handbook states, School celebrations focus on celebrations of learning rather than holidays and birthdays. Celebrations of learning may be at the end of expeditions, reading/writing units, or other such periods. We choose not to use instruction time for activities such as passing out Valentines and birthday invitations. We appreciate families taking care of such activities outside of school hours. Thank you for your understanding!

Youth Mountain Biking
Youth Mountain Bike Team Now Enrolling for Spring Riding!
The Palouse Composite Mountain Bike Team is a Washington Student Cycling League youth mountain bike team centered around the Palouse. The team is open to all riders between 6th and 12th grade of all riding abilities.
It's not about racing, it's about empowering youth through cycling. Although there will be four opportunities to race between April and early June, this team is about bringing together like-minded adults and kids who share an interest in mountain biking.
Currently there are several Palouse Prairie youth enrolled and we would love to have more join us! Ginger Yoder, 6th grade parent, is currently a coach and would be happy to talk with you about this opportunity!
