UIL is an academic competition among all elementay campuses in Alvin ISD. We are signing up for events through October 10th. If your child would like to participate, they need to turn in the form that was sent home Tuesday, September 26th, or you can access the form here. Each event will practice 1 day a week before school at 7:15 leading up to the competition on January 26-27 at Manvel High School. The practice schedule will be shared after permission slips are turned in. Each event will practice a few weeks then conduct try-outs to determine team placement.

Each week grade levels will select 1 student who has demonstrated trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Congratulations to this week's winners!

Students are earning their tokens and getting to pick a free book from the book vending machine. They earned their books for being responsible and making good choices.

Are you reading for rewards? Check this out if you are in 2nd-5th grade to see the awesome rewards you can earn this year.

Week Four of crazy 8s will be Monday from 4-5 pm. This week is all about being a detective so bring your spy gear (sunglasses/hat). Also remember to bring a small snack to enjoy as you are waiting for the club to start.
