MST Weekly Update
May 12, 2023

The next few weeks will be very busy here at MST. Next Friday is the prom a Candia Woods, Tuesday May 30th is our annual CTE recognition night, Tuesday June 14th is senior Class Night and of course, Saturday June 17th is graduation. Students need to be keeping up with all of their work so that they have everything completed by the last school day, Thursday June 15th. Then, they can have a well-deserved break!
I want to wish all of the mothers of our students a very Happy Mother's Day. Thank you for all that you do. I hope that you all have a wonderful day.
NH High School Short Film Festival
Out of nearly 100 entries, the top 20 films were nominated to be shown at this year's New Hampshire High School Short Film Festival. One of those selected is "I Saw Her", a short film written, directed, and edited by MSTHS senior Lily Lachance. Camera work was by Lily and Angie Bouchard. Sound recording was done by Angie and Aiden Begin. The film stars Johnny Phan along with a cast of several other MSTHS and MST-CTE students and video teacher, Mr. Lord
The free movie festival will be held at Chunky's Cinema in Manchester on Sunday May 21st at 12:30 PM, followed by an awards ceremony.
Congratulations to all involved for being selected for this festival.
Prom Update
All students attending the prom on May 19th must be present in school on that day until at least 11:10 AM and must attend all classes while in school. There will be a meeting with all students attending the prom at 9:40 on Friday in the Brennan Center. Students who are absent from school, or any classes, on the 19th will not be admitted to the prom.

Two Important Nights for MST
Two important end of the year events have been added to our calendar:
CTE Recognition Night will be held on Tuesday May 30th at 6:00 in the Memorial High School Auditorium. Recognition Night celebrates all CTE students who have successfully completed all required competencies of their 2-year CTE program. Students receiving a Certificate of Completion are those who went above and beyond and are being recommended for continuation in their chosen trade. Also recognized are those who completed two or more programs and students receiving scholarships related to their trade. Invitations will be sent out in early May to the families of those being recognized that night. Due to space limitations, we can only allow 2 guests per student.
Class Night will be held on Wednesday June 14th in the Memorial High School auditorium at 6:00. This night is for all seniors, who will attend in cap and gown. This evening is for presentation of scholarships, academic awards and other honors received by members of the Class of 2023.
