NO SCHOOL MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16th. Presidents Day Holiday
A Message From Your Principal
Dear Village Families,
Rincon Valley School District is in the process of preparing for in-person, hybrid learning, which will start as soon as safety conditions permit. Among the preparations we are making here at Village are planning for safe entrance and exits to and from campus, robust safety and cleaning protocols, creation of small, safe, stable student pods, and health screening protocols.
We are also working closely as a team to make sure that when students are able to be in person together again, they have the opportunity to interact, build friendships, and process this strange year together as a class and school community. This takes a lot of detailed planning, and I’ll keep you updated as we move closer to re-opening. WE CAN’T WAIT TO HAVE OUR KIDS BACK ON CAMPUS!
In order for us to open safely, we are also be looking to hire several aides to ensure safety and to support teachers and students. Click here Hybrid In Person Learning Assistance Flyer to view a flyer outlining parent employment opportunities in the afternoons to help us reopen. Contact us in the office if you’re interested in helping out!
Have a wonderful holiday weekend, and Happy Valentine’s Day to all!

Looking to connect with other Village families?
Click here to join the new Village Parents Club Slack Group
The Slack group is free, private, and easy to access from a phone or computer. It works a lot like a closed Facebook group, but it doesn't require a Facebook account and the conversations are really easy to search and organize.
In the Slack group you can connect with parents who have kids in the same grade, share ideas and support with other Village families, and feel less alone in this weird and wild time we are all parenting through.
Feel free to contact parentsclub@villageparents.org if you have questions or need help getting setup on Slack.
