Wow! What a busy, wonderful week at Rollins! Kindergarten did such an amazing job at their music program. Today, we hosted Junior Achievement (JA in a Day), where students were partnered with community members to learn about possibilities for their lives.
Their goals and mission are as follows:
Junior Achievement of Arkansas believes in "possible." Each day, we work to help young people discover what's possible in their lives. We do this by helping them connect what they learn in school with life outside the classroom. We let them know it's possible to invest in their future, to gain a better understanding of how the world works, and to pursue their dreams. We show them that it's possible for tomorrow to be a better day.
Student-led conferences are coming up March 4th and 5th. Please watch for communication from your child's teacher on signing up for a time. Students have exciting things to share! Kindergarten enrollment will also begin March 4. A link for signing up will be sent on that day through social media. If you need assistance, please call the school.
As the weather (hopefully) starts to turn warmer, please remind your child that midriffs should be covered at all times, and shorts/skirts should be fingertip length or longer. Please avoid spaghetti straps, as well. Proper attire can ensure that there are no distractions to the learning process. Thank you for your help with this!
