Cowles Montessori Crier

Last week, Cowles Leaders, Ms. Amy Cain, Ms. Savannah Calaway, Ms. Ashley Horning, Mrs. Melinda Gibson, Ms. Allie Meyer, and Mr. Todd Johnson proudly represented Cowles Montessori at the American Montessori Society's first annual Leadership Labposium! We obtained valuable insight into Montessori education with Montessori leaders from around the globe.

From the event, we connected with a diverse team of Montessori leaders in ways that recognized the urgency of moving Montessori forward in the following ways:

• Gained leadership strategies and techniques from proven innovators
• Learned ways to amplify our unique voice and brought innovative ideas for change to fruition
• Brought back practical techniques for immediate implementation for our school community
• Worked with other leaders to develop an understanding of, and framework for, cross-institutional collaboration
• Created an action plan for inspiring community and social action

We even made it on an American Montessori Society's Twitter post!
