Parents are not to go pass the front gate that leads up from Mystic Oak Boulevard due to 2 reasons.
All COVID protocols from last year are still in effect besides masks, therefore, we need to have one-way traffic flow, and we can’t have parents walk back and forth.
For security reasons, we can not have parents walk past the front gate that leads up from Mystic Oak Boulevard onto school property, and there should not be any adults on campus who haven’t signed into the system.
A bicycle rider or passenger who is under 16 years of age must wear a bicycle helmet that is properly fitted and is fastened securely upon the passenger’s head by a strap and that meets the federal safety standard for bicycle helmets, final rule, 16 C.F.R. part 1203.

BYOD Device
Dear Eagle Parents,
Seven Oaks Elementary is committed to developing a technologically relevant and engaging learning environment for all students by providing them with the opportunity to develop the resource sharing, innovation, communication skills, and tools that are essential to both life and work in the 21st Century.
As we embark on this new adventure of digital learning, whether your child is taking classes online or in-person, having access to a device will be important. We wanted to remind you of our school district’s Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program that allows students to wirelessly access the Internet for educational purposes as directed by a teacher or administrator. With school or district staff approval, students may use their own devices at school to participate in instructional activities, access and save information from the Internet, collaborate with other learners and utilize productivity tools and instructionally appropriate apps loaded on their devices.
So, if you are able to provide your child with a device to use at school or home, here is what you should know.
- District recommendations for devices:
- laptops (Windows, Mac, or Chromebook) with a camera and a recent version of the Chrome browser on the device.
- 4-8G of RAM. Less memory will work but may be slow.
- Other devices, including tablets and iPads with the Chrome browser installed, will work for most applications, however, they may not work for all applications.
- Specific iPad versions that are confirmed compatible include, iPad Air and newer, iPad Mini 2 and newer. Older versions or iPads may not work for all applications.
- For the students to gain access to the school internet, parents will need to sign the BYOD Agreement form.
Parents, please know that use of personal devices is never a requirement and will not impact student grades. In instances where a device is required for an assignment, students without a device of their own will be provided one by the district/school site. We just wanted to remind our Eagle parents of the BYOD opportunity.
Sincerely,
Shauntte Butcher
Principal
