November Family Connection
Whether you are a homeschool parent, teacher in a classroom or parent trying to do more to teach your kids about Catholicism, picture books can be a wonderful resource for family conversation inspiration! Not only do they help bolster literacy skills, but they also simplify the messaging and the wording of specific faith concepts for children.
You can always try to find books in the library to save money, but there is also tremendous value in building our own library of books that foster not just a love for reading and creativity, but also a love for Christ and His Church. And with all of the removing of Christian values and replacing them with ideas that contradict Catholic teaching from society today, having these books in your home can feel like a type of armor to help pushback against what the world is trying to push onto children.
