Principal's Message
Dear Vista Families,
PLEASE REMEMBER.... There is no school on Monday 2/19/24 in observance of President's Day.
Traffic and Safety Reminder:
Please be aware of traffic laws on our residential streets. Maintain the speed limit of 25 mph or less in the residential area. An incident happened at the beginning of this week where a white BMW that was speeding down Vista Drive, almost hit one of our Vista students. Thankfully, a parent was present to stop the child from crossing in front of the BMW. With this being said, it is so important that we are vigilant about following traffic laws for the safety of all. This includes parking in designated areas, not letting your children off in the middle of the street (Double parking), and using the crosswalks located on Notre Dame/Vista Dr. or Bucknell/Vista Dr. If you see someone who is not adhering to the safety of others, please contact the school office with the make, model and license plate of the car. I will call Claremont Police Department to report the incident. Thank you for ensuring that everyone arrives safely to and from school.
Dental Clinic:
The dental clinic is coming to Vista on February 21st. This is a great resource so be sure to take advantage of this opportunity as there is NO COST. I am attaching the document beneath my message. There is also a QR code that you can scan and submit this document online.
Warmly,
Mrs. Nuanes
