Terry High School Counseling Team (9-12)
Mrs. Jennifer O'Donnel - 9th Grade Counselor
My name is Jennifer O’Donnell. I am the Ranger Counselor for the class of 2026!! I graduated from the University of Houston with degrees in Psychology & Political Science. I received my Master of Education degree from Houston Baptist University. My husband and I have been married for 4 ½ years. We rescued 2 black labs and love spending time with them. Trips to the dog park, working in the yard, and binge watching random tv shows with my husband occupy my free time. Our current favorites are Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingstown! I am looking forward to getting the class of 2026 across that stage in 3 ½ years.
Ms. Jennifer Ohanaja - 10th Grade Counselor
I am Jennifer Ohanaja and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas to immigrant parents from Nigeria. I graduated from Westbury High School in HISD, and went on to graduate from Lamar University, where I became a member of THE Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Although I began working in LCISD in 2021, I was previously a counselor for several years in a neighboring district. Interesting fact about Ms. Ohanaja is that that she absolutely hates chocolate.
Alex Jodlowski: 11th Grade Counselor
I am Alex Jodlowski, or as many know me “Ms. J” I was born in Brownsville, Texas, but raised in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico until the age of 16 . I’m a proud 2005 graduate of St. Joseph Academy, where I started as an ESL student not knowing any English, and was able to graduate with a full ride scholarship to attend the University of Texas at Austin as a Gates Millennium Scholar and do college NCAA Track and Field as hurdler and triple jumper. “Hook ‘em Horns”! I was an elementary teacher, and therapist before coming to Terry. I am married to my polish husband Kuba, and have 2 little girls, Cami and Elena who are the light of my world. In my free time, you will find me going on an travel adventure with my family, Zumba dancing, or enjoying the outdoors. This is my 3rd year at Terry and the best thing about my job is to help students reach their goals and watch them bloom into happy, mature and responsible young adults. Fun fact about me is that I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines and I know a little bit of Tagalog.
Mrs. Julia Arriaga - 12th Grade Counselor
Celebrating Mrs. Julia Arriaga is the 12th Grade Counselor for students with last name A-K. She was born in Taft, Texas, near Corpus Christi. She has lived in Rosenberg for the last 22 years. Mrs. Arriaga is a proud graduate of Alief Elsik High School, the University of Houston Victoria and the Relay School of Education. Prior to counseling she taught 8th grade U.S. History at Briscoe Junior High and George Junior High. In the Fall of 2015 she was blessed to begin teaching U.S. History at Terry High School, then began counseling in the Fall of 2017. Mrs. Arriaga has been married to her husband Max for 18 years and are the proud parents of Nathan and Natalie. She and her family spend most of their time at the baseball, softball field and at their church. One of her favorite events and privileges is calling names at Terry High School’s Graduation. Mrs. Arriaga believes our future is not determined by our background or circumstances, we are destined for greatness if we step out of our shadows and into our light.
Mrs. Katrese Lokey - 12th Grade Counselor
I am Katrese Lokey and I was born and raised in Southwest Alief Texas (SWAT). I am proud 2002 graduate of Hastings High School and have received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Texas Woman’s University and Lamar University respectfully. I am married to my high school sweetheart Dave and have 2 boys, Kai and Kayden who also attend RED TRACK schools. I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority incorporated and enjoy traveling, gaming, and binge watching various Netflix series. I have worked as a counselor at Terry High School since Fall 2018 and my biggest joy is watching our Rangers cross the graduation stage. Fun fact about me is that I am huge Harry Potter nerd and will always represent my “Slytherin” house.
