Please meet Trinity and Lulu from VSAA for this week's Our Own Words student spotlight. They were instrumental in a Day of Caring project where they distributed goody bags and thank you notes to district custodians and bus drivers. Thank you, Trinity and Lulu, for making a difference!

We are excited to introduce you to Kathy Decker, a member of the VPS Board of Directors. With more than 30 years of teaching experience, including at VPS, Kathy brings a wealth of knowledge to her work. She has lived in our Vancouver community for 27 years and has been serving on the VPS Board of Directors since 2019.

Mario Barba, a dual-language coach at King Elementary, recently had a conversation with Kathy to get to know her better. They talked about Kathy’s vision for VPS and what matters most to her as a Board Director.

It’s almost time to celebrate the class of 2023!

We would love to have you to be part of our in-person graduation ceremonies! We also understand that not everyone may be able to attend their student's event in person, but - we have you covered. Graduation ceremonies will be live-streamed on cable television, ensuring that you can still be part of this special occasion. Please refer to the schedule below, or visit our website, for the specific days and times of the programming. We look forward to celebrating your student’s accomplishment, whether in person or virtually.

The last day of school for this academic year is June 20th. We hope that all students have had a productive and successful school year and wish them a fun and safe summer break.
