NVHS 21/22 News #27

We are wrapping up the process of scheduling for next year. Any 10th - 11th grade student wanting to switch to the Jumpstart diploma must have a parent meeting on campus to discuss the options and sign appropriate paperwork. Everyone is considered a University diploma student until this occurs.

Folders with IGP's should be returned to the guidance department by Tuesday, February 15.

Full time virtual students will receive an email in the next couple of weeks to complete scheduling.

Please help us by committing to sell at least 2 car raffle tickets. Students who need another raffle sheet can pick one up at the front office. We are far from our goal at this point. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

Tuesday & Thursday: Algebra I & English

Monday & Wednesday: Physical Science & Biology

Students needing assistance in other subjects should email Mrs. Denise so she can arrange assistance.

An intervention schedule is followed twice a week. This provides each student with either 30 minutes to catch up on homework or get ahead on their AR or 30 minutes to work with a teacher on a concept they missed or need retaught. Juniors and Seniors are required to check their Google Classroom each Monday night to see if they are assigned to an intervention room.

* Juniors and Seniors who are behind in Edgenuity at the end of the week will be pulled for intervention next week.

* ALL on campus Juniors are pulled this Tuesday to complete coding for ACT. Full time virtual students will receive instructions through email but are certainly welcome to come to school if they'd prefer. This will begin at 7:15 Assignments will be posted in Google Classroom.

• Students MUST have a parking tag to park on campus.

• Students not reporting to lunch detention or after school detention will be assigned the next step in the discipline process. We will not be reassigning detention without prior approval from an administrator.
