Let's show our HOKA HEY spirit as we celebrate Manvel High School's homecoming week. Students and staff are encouraged to participate in the HOCO Theme days. Students must still abide by the Alvin ISD dress code in regards to length of tops and bottoms (ex. No Crops or shorts shorter than 3 inches above the knee).

Manvel High School will be hosting their annual Homecoming Parade and Block Party on Wednesday, September 27th. Several of our student organizations will be participating and we hope to see you there.

Our Razorback students and staff are doing great things in and outside the classroom.

Our 6th Grade Students of the Month are Rian Yeman and David Watts

Rodeo Palms will be hosting Open House on Tuesday, September 26th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. Parents and guardians will be able to speak with teachers about their students Nine Week 1 progress.

The Library will also be hosting it's annual book fair and Ms. Baldwin will hold her first Parent/Principal Partnership meeting. Series #1 will be tools for parents (Skyward, Google Classroom, Grading Guidelines, Student Social Media) and Title I information.

Houston Chronicle has launched Student of the Month for the Houston suburbs. Teachers and parents can nominate a student doing something outstanding this month. If a student from the Pearland, Alvin or Manvel area is selected, they will be feature in a monthly vote for our suburban area, and the winner will be highlighted in an Insider newsletters.
