Principal's Message:
We had a lovely visit from author Rita Feutl, she spoke with our students about her works of historical fiction and her picture books. I encourage you to check out her website: https://www.ritafeutl.com/
This month saw our school experience two incredible Indigenous presentations: jigging with the Beaverlodge jigging group and a drumming presentation with Al Crawford. Big thanks to both, they were exceptional experiences!

Message from Student Council:
Hello Penson School! This month was awesome.
Thank you to Start Rite Driver Education Ltd. and Smith Smokey River Cattle Company for generously donating to this month's pancake breakfasts! We also really appreciate all the volunteers for their hard work and dedication to our school.
On November 13th we had some Indigenous students come and teach us how to jig, which was fun.
On Nov 22nd we had an author named Rita Feutl, who came and told us some stories. Her stories were really interesting. We liked how she told us why and how she came up with all of her book ideas.
Soon our 2 turtles will have names! We are going to have a secret ballot for jr. k - grade 3 and an online voting link for the older grades. We will be announcing the turtle's names at the assembly on Monday.
