Save the Date
- We will not be sending home any more homework. Please practice the sight word list sent home last week, and any words your child struggles reading or spelling.
- June 9th- All school laptops, cords and cases are due back.
- June 9th- We will also be having Field "day" from 9:15-10:25. You may want to apply sunscreen on your child before coming to school.
- June 9- Kindergarten Promotion at 6:00 pm
(Please look in your child's folder for more information)
- June 12th- Kindergarten End of Year Celebration from 9:30-10:30
- June 15th- Last day of school (we release at 11:50)

Weekly Highlights
We visited Mr. Sarlo and some of the 5th grade students who made roller coasters with paper. If your child has started making ramps with paper, now you know why.
This Week's Objectives
Language Arts
- We will be reviewing sight words (Spelling Test on Friday)
- Reading Skills: Reading books by Kevin Henke and the author's style
- Writing: Writing responses for Kevin Henke books
Math
- Continue to practice the days of the week and months of the year in order. Also, what day comes before or after any given day. Please use the June calendar to practice days of the week and saying the date. Today is, Monday May 29th, 2023.
- Comparing objects by weight and temperature.

- Life cycle and changes of a frog.
- Hopefully the chrysalises have made it through the weekend. We should have butterflies by Wednesday!!
