2021 is quickly coming to an end. It is hard to believe we are halfway through the school year. With only a short time left until the semester ends, we are working hard to ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed.

This newsletter features a lot of important information. Once a month I will be putting out a newsletter with information for Wheaton Elementary Families.

December 22-December 31- Christmas Break

January 3- No School-PD Day

January 4- First day of Second Semester for Students

If you would like your PK-2nd grade child to be screened, you can still turn in a form. Ms. Donna has them in her office. Contact your child's teacher or Donna to get a form sent home with your child.

Due to Miss Caery being ill, our PK-4th grade Christmas Program has been moved to Thursday, December 16th. All program times will remain the same. Thank you for being flexible and understanding.

Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Menefee's class TIED and brought in the same amount of coats! They will get to celebrate with a hot chocolate party!

Thank you to everyone who donated coats. This will be a huge benefit to our students who need a warm coat for the winter!

We are so proud of our students!

Our 5th-8th grade students were invited to a Drury Lady Panthers game this month. Students were able to make posters for players, talk to them, get autographs, and enjoy a day of basketball. We are grateful Drury reached out to us for this opportunity.

Thank you to PTCO for hosting the Lil Miss and Mister Merry Christmas fundraiser! It was a huge success and they raised over $7,000!! Our teachers, students, and staff are all very appreciative of everything PTCO does for our school. These volunteers put in a lot of work to help our teachers with things for their classrooms.
