Principal Message
Spring is here! The snow is melting, there’s daylight well after supper and we just handed out Term 2 report cards. With spring this year we are also getting the added bonus of most COVID restrictions being lifted. This has allowed us to have parents come into the school to cook pancakes for National Pancake Day, play basketball against the junior highs and in April our first in-person Parent Teacher Interviews in over two years. It has been very exciting to open the doors to the public again and to see smiling faces rather than just smiling eyes. The end of the school year promises to be busy with staff frantically planning events that are now open for us to do. For me, the idea of doing our Student Convention, Grade 6 trip and the 3D soccer tournament to name a few activities is really what I love about school. The ability to do something new, while making an incredible memory is what I believe makes a school experience special. I hope everyone enjoys the warming weather and their Spring Break.
