Parent Drop-Off
When dropping off your student please pull forward as far as possible! Many parents are dropping off their students in the morning. Pull forward as far as you can, so we do not back up traffic on Miller Ave.
Thank you for your help with keeping our Stallions safe.

Attendance Matters
Tardies: School starts at 8:10am. If students come in after that time, they will be counted tardy.
Pre-arranged Absences: If your student will be gone from school for other than an illness, or medical appointment, please fill out a prearranged absence form ahead of time. The forms are in the office. They need to be completed two weeks ahead of time with a parent signature or attached note, the dates of the absence, teacher signatures, and the principal’s signature. If such an absence occurs, and the form is not completed by district guidelines, the absence may not be excused.
Attendance Matters!
Facts about school attendance:
- Starting in preschool kindergarten, too many absences may cause children to fall behind in school.
- Missing 10% or about 2 days each month over the course of a school year, can make it harder to learn to read.
- Students can still fall behind if they miss just 1 or 2 days every few weeks.
- Being late to school may lead to poor attendance.
- Absences and tardiness can affect the whole classroom if the teacher has to slow down learning to help children catch up.
- Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school-and themselves. Start building this habit in preschool so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Eventually good attendance will be a skill that will help them succeed in high school and college.

Cell Phones
If a student has their cell phone out, they will be asked to put it away. The second time the student is caught with their cell phone out, the phone will be taken to the office and the student can pick it up after school. On the third time the cell phone is out during a time it is not supposed to be, the phone will be taken to the office and the parent will be responsible to pick up the cell phone.
