SC students have the option of taking classes over ITV. Choices include: College Algebra and College English (both Dual-Credit), Art, Health Careers, EMT, and Sports Marketing.

Starting this Fall two days a week, students grades 7-12 are offered a fresh fruit or vegetable in the afternoon. Student volunteers prepare the snack and deliver it to classrooms during Cadet Block.

What is Accelerated Reader?

Decades of data and research have revealed that effective reading practice needs to include deep engagement, active ownership of learning, and an appropriate level of challenge. Educators use Accelerated Reader to support this type of “perfect reading practice” and motivate your child to want to read more and discover a lifelong love of reading.

What books are included in Accelerated Reader?

Accelerated Reader doesn’t include “books.” Renaissance creates Accelerated Reader quizzes for most fiction and nonfiction trade books as well as curated nonfiction articles.

We currently have almost 200,000 quizzes in our database (10,000 are in Spanish), and we add thousands more each year, for classic literature, award winners, long-time favorites, and many of today’s most popular titles.

Friday September 13th from 3:03-3:30: Volunteers from the Senior Class will organize an activity for all PK-12th grade students.

Together Time is an organized activity where once a month the entire student body gets together to have fun! Past activities include: bingo, musical chairs, freeze dance, trivia games, and obstacle courses.
