Barber Bulletin
We hope by now you heard about the generous donation we received from Burlington Factory. Each Burlington Factory opens a new store, they donate $10,000 to an elementary school in the area. Pontiac Elementary was the chosen school for the opening of the Burlington store that will be located in the Sandhills area near CiCi's Pizza. Through the partnership of AdoptaClassroom.org, each teacher in our building will be allocated funds to spend on their classroom needs. A big thank you to our community partners that joined us for this event! Marble Slab and Skateland joined us at the celebration to offer their support! Thank you for being patrons of Burlington! Their grand opening is Friday, March 9 and they will host a family day on Saturday, March 10! We are so grateful for this community partnership we have with Burlington and look forward to more ways to build a sustainable relationship with this local business in the future.

Health Room Donations
Parents,
This has been a difficult cold and flu season with a lot of illness. With that, comes a lot of cleaning going on and as a result our supplies have dwindled. The health room would be very appreciative of any donations of Lysol spray and Clorox wipes! We want to be PROACTIVE in the fight against germs!
Thank you,
Nurse Larck

Mission Statement
The Community and Action Team hope that you and your family have discussed your vision, plan, or goal for your family. Below are the next steps for creating the Mission Statement.
Creating a Mission statement
After defining the outcome, next is to create a family mission statement. In order to do this, figure out what is most important to your family by answering these seven questions:
- What is the purpose of our family?
- What kinds of things do we want to do?
- What kind of feeling do we want to have in our home?
- What kind of relationships do we want to have with one another?
- What are our family’s priorities?
- What are our responsibilities as family members?
- How can we contribute to society as a family and become more service-oriented?
Give your children the opportunity to express their feelings of what they think is important to your family. Mission statements do not need to be long or formal, they just need to represent what is important to you and your family. Don’t try to rush this process. This may take a few months! Make sure that your family feels that the mission statement clearly represents what is important to everyone.
