Greetings Huntley Hill Tigers
Huntley Hills Elementary & Montessori School 2023-2024 School Year
Hello Faculty, staff, students and parents. It has been busy in the counseling arena since our last newsletter. We have have appointed a new Student Council and they have been busy working on Red Ribbon Week activities and helping others during this Thanksgiving season. We had numerous Tiger of the Month and Silver Spoon celebrations. We had a few field trips with our My Brother's Keeper and My Sister's Keeper. Our Tiger Buck store has been up and running and our students enjoy shopping with Dr. Collins. Our Backpack Buddy program is growing and I want to Thank Chamblee Methodist Church for supporting our students. Attendance letters have gone out, attendance is very important, we want our tigers here each and everyday learning positively in our school environment. The Christmas season is upon us and we wish all of our Tigers a Wonderful Holiday Season, enjoy your family and friends and indulge in some self care. As always, our counseling goal is provide a nurturing environment where our students can feel safe, have a place to come for comfort, be a listening ear and provide the tools and resources needed to excel in the school environment. We still run as one and we will be doing the Dekalb way, Disrupting For Excellence, Excellence for All.
