The GREEN Staff appreciates your participation during the Back to School Night. It was a successful event!

A couple of friendly reminders:

1. The bell rings at 8:00 am; ensure your child is on time. Please, avoid SARB Consequences. Let us know if we can support you.

2. Dismissal is at 2:30 pm Mon./Tues./Thurs. and Fri.

3. Wednesday are early dismissals at 1:00 pm. Please, pick up your student promptly.

4. Early dismissal Friday, September 24, 2021 - Please pick up your student at 1:00 pm.

5. Please, remind your student to wear the uniform daily. We want to avoid calling and bothering you at work to bring a change of clothing.

6. Please, let's support each other and keep our students at home if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (Fever or chills, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fatigue, Muscle or body aches, Headache, New loss of taste or smell, Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose, Nausea or vomiting or diarrhea.).

Students are NOT permitted on campus. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Congratulations to Janely Caballero, 7th grader at E.O. Green Junior High in Oxnard! She won 3rd place and a $100 prize in an art contest for students from migrant families presented by the National Association of Farmworkers Opportunity Programs in their Children in the Fields Campaign.

This past year has taken a toll on our community. This conference is focused on the health and wellness of parents and families. Participants will learn more about self-care and resiliency and be given tools and strategies to use in their every day lives.

Students who are retaking pictures are allowed in be in non-uniform TOPS ONLY. Tops must follow dress code for non-uniform days. NO plain solid black or white t-shirts.

The MFLC can help support you and your child though these challenges and in the areas of: school adjustment, deployment and separation, reunion adjustment, sibling and parent-child communication, behavioral concerns, and fear or grief and loss issues. The MFLC also provides resources available on base and outside in the surrounding community based on the needs of the individual and family. I am on campus on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and you can either contact me by: calling the school directly or stopping by the front office and request a meeting with the Military Counselor.
