This week we are hosting DC’s fourth ‘Spread the Word to End the Word’ campaign. This campaign was started in 2009 at the Special Olympics Winter Games, their goal was to start a movement to end the derogatory use of the r-word.

Did you know there was research done to specifically look at the use of the r-word on social media? It found that in a 2 year time span there were over 29 million posts containing the r-word. Let's pledge to eliminate the derogatory use of the r-word from our everyday speech and to promote the acceptance and inclusion of people with disabilities!

Just a reminder that students need to have a pass to enter the front office.

The Counseling office will be hosting 2 FAFSA nights this year. The first night will be on November 9 at 6:00pm in the Forum. We will focus on creating the FSA ID account needed to complete FAFSA. If you are concerned about doing this alone, please join us so that we can help you receive all of the financial aid you need for college or trade school.

All students who park in the school parking lot must have a student parking pass. Parking passes can be purchased for $20 in the Junior Office. Cars without passes are subjected to towing.

***NOTE- Students must be passing ALL Classes to attend DCHS After School Events. This includes sporting events, fine art performances, field trips and etc. ***
