There are many teaching and learning wows happening at SMSA. We are focused on strengthening Tier 1 Core instruction and we are seeing learning targets (objectives) visible and referred to during classroom lessons. We are also seeing students at the center of their learning with student to student discourse and students solving and presenting their own solutions to problems.

There are many ways SMSA is taking care of families. This is one example, Josh Duenas and SMSA staff have been delivering Turkeys to families in need this year!

Thank you to our ACE team for creating an excellent experience for our students who have demonstrated improved attendance. Student to Student Basketball games and Staff to Student basketball games!

Students who had exceptional attendance earned a staff vs. student basketball game. Middle and high schoolers went head to head with staff!

Thank you to our SMSA Staff for hosting a Senior Potluck to celebrate the successes of the school year and provide shout outs to your SMSA Senior Scholars!
