BHS Bucks Principal's Update

Dear BHS students and families,

We are looking forward to welcoming back students to our school. As a reminder, this is an adventure for all of us. Please bare with us as we journey together toward academic progress, acceptable social and emotional improvements to ourselves, and growth in persistence, and positivity. We are here because we love our students and we are doing all we can to be sure we live and learn in a safe and healthy environment.

It’s always a great time to be a Buck and this year is no exception. See you bright and early Tuesday morning!

SCHOOL OPENS TUESDAY, SEPT 8th!

All students should enter through the Aux Gym doors. Doors will open at 7:00 for bus riders and 7:20 for all others. Students should either enter to the aux gym to wait for dismissal or the cafe to eat breakfast. (Only 4 students per table.)

All students are required to wear a mask. Please be sure you have one on your face before entering the building.

Schedules for students grades 9-12 are posted on PowerSchool beginning Friday evening. 8th grade students were handed schedules during their Drive-Thru open house. Schedule Change request forms can be picked up from any teacher throughout the day. We reserve the right to deny any schedule change requests.

Students grades 8-9 who did not pick up thier Chrombooks this week should pick up their forms first thing Tuesday morning in the aux gym. Most Chromebooks will be available for distribution the first week of school.

Students who have materials that need to be turned in from last year may bring them to the teachers they are owed to on the first day of school.

Our lunches are closed and all students will need to stay in the building during lunch times. If students do not eat a hot lunch, they will need to bring lunch from home.

Picture day is Wednesday! Be sure to complete and return the picture form on Wednesday.

Parking Permits

We are once again offering designated parking spots to each of our driving students. All vehicles in the parking lot must display the proper parking permit and may only park in assigned areas. Driving students must purchase permits from the main office downstairs. Parking permits will be sold on a first come first served basis by grade level. Seniors may begin purchasing permits on Tuesday, September 8, juniors on Wednesday, September 9, and all other student drivers on Thursday, September 10. Parking permits go into effect on Friday, September 11. Please refer to the parking policy found in the student handbook for more information. Parking permits are $5.00.
