Food Fusion
Youth Exchange 13-19.08.2018 Poland
Project Description
The "Food Fusion" youth exchange will take place from June 13th to 19th, 2018 (excluding travel days). 5 leaders and 20 young participants aged 18-25, from 5 countries: Spain, Poland, Romania, France and Estonia will meet in Białka Tatrzańska, Poland.
The initiator of "Food Fusion" is a Polish group of young people who previously participated in another project, which did not meet the nutrition expectations of participants and negatively affected its quality. This motivated to create a youth exchange about the preferences and eating habits of young people from different areas of Europe.
Thanks to the exchange, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the culture and customs of other countries. Participation in the exchange will affect the formation of attitudes of tolerance towards cultural, religious or demonstrative differences.
The aim of the project is also propagation and promoting the idea of youth exchanges and international cooperation. This will be helped by an event organized by participants.
For young people, an important goal is to make new international friends. Integration activities, participation in workshops and cooking together will enable them to make friends from different countries for life.
As a result of the "Food Fusion", a mini-guide for coordinators of future international projects will be created containing information on dietary preferences of participants from different areas of Europe.
